Bhutan Bumthang Trek offers best cultural experience of Bhutan and it is a moderate 3-days hiking from Menchugang to Jakar Dzong. After end the trek we join for the overland tour and will be exploring country side cultural attraction. The trail has an abundance of flora and fauna, and the panoramic views of the valleys beneath the hill tops and the Himalayas spread over a broad horizon would be an experience that one shall cherish for a lifetime. Bhutan Bumthang Trek you have opportunity to see typical Village life style. The beautiful temperate forest of blue pine, hemlock, fir, spruce, juniper with under growth of bamboo spices, rhododendrons, birch, maple, chestnut and many others. In spring the rhododendrons flowers are in bloom that beautifies the whole trek route looks incredible.

  • Day 01: Arrive in Paro and transfer to Thimpu and overnight hotel
  • Day 02: Drive to Punakha for sightseeing and overnight hotel
  • Day 03: Drive to Jakar across Pele la and Youtong la pass (7-8hrs) and overnight hotel
  • Day 04: Full day sightseeing around Bumthang and overnight hotel
  • Day 05: Transfer to trailhead, trek Jakar- Menchugang-Dhur and o/n at acmp
  • Day 6: Trek Dhur to Kitiphu ridge 3870m and overnight camp
  • Day 7: Trek 5-6 hrs and arrive in Jakar and overnight at hotel
  • Day 8: Drive to visit Trongsa and overnight hotel
  • Day 9: Drive to visit Gangtey, Phobjikha (5-6hrs) and overnight hotel
  • Day11: Visit Gangtey. Drive to Thimphu (5-6hrs) and overnight hotel
  • Day 12: Thimphu tour and Paro valley tour and overnight hotel
  • Day 13: Paro-hiking excursion to Taktsang overnight hotel
  • Day 14: For final departure transfer to airport
